- Cook pasta according to package. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan, and pasta water if needed for consistency.
- Add cooked pasta and toss until coated.
- Season with salt, pepper, and parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Make it lighter with half-and-half instead of cream.
- Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
